A for Hyaluronic Acid

What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic Acid is a glycosaminoglycan polysaccharide not bound to a central protein.
The word "hyaluronic" comes from the Greek hyalos, meaning "glassy."

It is found in the vitreous humor and synovial fluid. It is one of the main components of the extracellular matrix.

How does Hyaluronic Acid work?

Hyaluronic acid is a highly hydrophilic sugar. Thanks to this hydrophilic power, it ensures skin hydration by acting like a sponge. It captures water molecules and retains them. Hyaluronic Acid is naturally present in the human body in the joints, muscles, eyes, and especially the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid forms the extracellular matrix and supports collagen and elastin fibers. It is present in large quantities in the epidermis (superficial layer of the skin) and in the dermis (deeper layer).

Epidermal and dermal cells synthesize hyaluronic acid naturally in the body. Over the years, epidermal and dermal cells become less able to synthesize hyaluronic acid, so reserves are no longer optimal, and the skin aging process begins. The skin dehydrates and sags, and wrinkles deepen.

What are the benefits of Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic Acid helps the skin maintain its "youthful" and healthy appearance.

It allows the skin to have suppleness, elasticity, and good tone.

To understand, a baby's skin is very rich in hyaluronic acid, whereas mature skin is much poorer in hyaluronic acid (in particular, almost devoid of hyaluronic acid in the epidermis, the most superficial and visible layer of the skin).

To delay skin aging, it is therefore necessary to counteract this loss of hyaluronic acid by using creams, serums, masks or patches containing Hyaluronic Acid, and ideally to consume it orally through food supplements.

What are the sources of Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is obtained through various processes:

  • By extraction from rooster combs
  • By bacterial fermentation: hyaluronic acid filaments are synthesized by bacteria
  • By fermentation of plants that naturally contain it, such as wheat, corn, or soy.

Adjusting your diet

To delay skin aging, it is necessary to counteract this loss of hyaluronic acid by using creams, serums, masks, or patches with Hyaluronic Acid, and ideally to consume it orally through food supplements.

Taking hyaluronic acid food supplements

Here are two food supplements based on hyaluronic acid, precisely dosed to achieve an optimal effect

Hyaluronic Acid Max

The formula contained in the Hyaluronic Acid MAX food supplement helps to improve skin quality, preserve its beauty, and fight against oxidative stress responsible for skin aging.

The combination of Hyaluronic Acid with antioxidants such as Coenzyme Q10, lycopene, and vitamin C gives the formula an additional advantage in the fight against skin aging. Burdock, meanwhile, helps the skin achieve clarity thanks to its action against imperfections.

Our unique formula helps restore skin suppleness and hydration, reduce wrinkles, and protect it from external aggressions. Gradually, the skin becomes clearer, it gains radiance, and the skin texture is smoothed. The appearance of new wrinkles is considerably slowed down.

Collagen Evolution

Collagen is a protein that gives the skin its structure, firmness, and elasticity. From the age of 25, its production begins to decrease. The skin loses its initial quality. Wrinkles and fine lines, sagging, tightness, loss of suppleness, and dehydration are symptoms of collagen loss.

Daily consumption of Collagen Evolution powder helps compensate for this collagen loss.

Taking collagen is recommended to improve skin elasticity and suppleness, as well as the hydration necessary to maintain fresh and clear skin.

Collagen Evolution also contains Hyaluronic Acid to effectively combat skin aging.

Vitamin C & E, Zinc, and Selenium help fight skin imperfections to maintain an even complexion.

Daily intake of Collagen Evolution stimulates the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid, considerably improves skin hydration, its texture, and its elasticity. It is a choice food supplement.

All our food supplements are manufactured in France.
